Kim NamJoon (RM) Facts

1. His real name is Kim NamJoon.
2. His stage name is RM. (Earlier it used to be Rap Monster).3.RM was born in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province on September 12, 1994.
   
3. RM's Zodiac sign is virgo , Blood Type is A and his weight is 67 kg (147 lbs).
4. There are 4 family member in his family including him. They are his mother , father, Younger sister and him.

7. Before Debut i.e. before joining Big Hit Entertainment in 2010, RM used to be an underground rapper whose stage name was Runch Randa. He even released several tracks informally as a Underground rapper , including a collaboration with Zico (Block B) before debut.
   
8. Namjoon was the first member to be selected for  BTS. More accurately,Bang PD decided to make BTS he met Namjoon. He had been trainee for more than 3 years.
9. RM is Great leader and main rapper in the group BTS,He is also a great songwriter and        producer. He has composed and produced more than 100 songs.
10. He started writing song lyrics since his childhood when he was in school. He used to write lyrics on his textbook.

Hence, his members gave him this nickname), monnie, Namu(in Japanese language, Namjoon is written as Namujoon so he started calling himself Namu).
